Closing out Monday’s trading session cannabis stocks were mixed with plenty of losers and few winners.
After reports were issued regarding Green Growth Brand’s (CSE: GGB) (OTCQB: GGBXF) interest in a hostile takeover of Aphria Inc (NYSE: APHA), it was discovered that the companies were employing the same insider trading tactics Aphria was accused of in early December by short seller Hindenburg Research. Green Growth was down 9.28% to $3.42 Monday, while Aphria also tumbled 9.11% to $5.69.
Cronos Group (NASDAQ: CRON) slipped 0.29% to $10.39. Canopy Growth Corp. (NYSE: CGC) fell 1.83% to $26.87. And Tilray (NASDAQ: TLRY) was trading down 6.13% to $70.54.
Aurora Cannabis (NYSE: ACB) was also trading down 5.16% plunging under the $5 mark to $4.96. Unfortunately, analysts are projecting Aurora has hit bearish momentum and warn investors that more turbulence is to be expected.
Acreage Holdings Inc. (OTCMKTS: ACRGF) (CNSX: ACRG.U) fell 2.53% to $19.01.
GW Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: GWPH) climbed 2.09% to $97.39.
Hexo Corp. (OTCMKTS: HYYDF) (TSE: HEXO) fell 2.56% to $3.43.
Organigram Holdings Inc. (OTCMKTS: OGRMF) (CVE: OGI) was up more than 4% to $3.57.
The high roller at the close of Monday trading was MJardin Group Inc. (OTCMKTS: MJARF) (CSE: MJAR) who was up a whopping 27.04% to $3.90.
Cresco Labs (OTCMKTS: CRLBF) (CSE: CL) was up 5.12% at $6.75.
The Green Organic Dutchman (TSE: TGOD) was down 3.91% to $2.46. Valens Groworks Corp. (CSE: VGW) fell 0.66% and was trading at $1.51.
Pure Global Cannabis (TSXV: PURE) is up 19.44% climbing to $0.22.
CannTrust Holdings Inc. (OTCMKTS: CNTTF) (TSX: TRST) slipped 4.48% to $4.82.
Origin House (OTCMKTS: ORHOF) (CNSX :OH) ended the last trading session down 2.46% at $4.75.
New Age Beverage Co. (NASDAQ: NBEV) was down 0.57% to $5.20.
Horizon’s ETFs Management Canada Inc. (TSE: HMMJ) fell 1.71% and is currently trading at $14.35.
ETFMG Alternative Harvest ETF (NYSEARCA: MJ) fell 0.83% to $24.94.
